It won't be this exact machine, and there may be slight variations. It will be a serviced, working typewriter, as good or better than the one shown.
(I say Rocket or Baby because they are identical other than the branding, and the listing includes pictures of both).
Excellent working condition.
Usually comes in 12 characters per inch, ‘elite’. (About 10 pt font).
Solid case. These cases are metal and clip over the top. The lowest profile machine around. (Including case). The Groma Kolibri is slightly lower, however the case is bulky and not-well-thought-out.
Sometimes branded ‘Hermes Baby’, sometimes ‘Hermes Rocket’. All the same.
Newly cleaned and adjusted.
New ribbon wound onto vintage ribbon spools.
Circa 1960, Hermes Baby was upgraded to this model. It has a smooth finish and 2 tone ribbon selector (in case you want to type in red). Actually, you’ll notice 3 settings. One is ‘blank’ for using correction strips or blank impression.
These cost a little more simply because there are fewer of them, particularly in excellent condition.
