SCRIPT Hermes 3000 Vintage Manual Typewriter with Case

Sale Price:$1,597.00 Original Price:$2,297.00

Welcome to one of history’s finest typewriters, lovingly restored for your writing pleasure.

You’ll get the exact machine shown in pictures, with the sought-after Script (cursive) typeface. Great for notes, lists, legible cursive (unlike mine). Love letter, perchance?

This is working perfectly. Slightly marked down for slight wear to bottom and case (shown). Machine itself is near perfect with only slight wear of bottom panel showing on edges.

It’s also missing one of four nuts to the inside of the case. Doesn’t effect functionality. I just don’t have a spare. Pics show all issues.

The machine itself topside is in our ‘Best’ tier’. So this is a good opportunity to get a Script Hermes 3k fully serviced with a warranty.

NEW PLATEN and FEET.

Hermes 3000 Typewriter History

Before Paillard designed the Hermes 3000, they spent years dissecting many of history's iconic typewriters in order to create the perfect machine.

In 1958 that machine was unleashed upon the world.

The result was a feature-rich machine that was durable, comfortable, and beautiful. It quickly became a legend in the literary world. Jack Kerouac reportedly wrote his final novel on the Hermes 3000. Sylvia Plath wrote her only novel, the Bell Jar, on one. Adrienne Rich wrote some of her iconic poetry on the Hermes.

The Hermes 3000 is unrivaled for its
